Babies make lots of chatty noises, but coos, gurgles, and cries aren't true spoken language. When practice babies say their kickoff words? When do they develop the ability to limited themselves with linguistic communication?

Experts used to say babies reached this milestone around the age of 12 months. But based on electric current evidence, a better estimate is between 6 and xiv months.
